Two Booming Countries, Two Exhibitions at One Time

THE CONCRETE AND CEMENT EXPO is the only specialized Concrete event in Vietnam that brings together an international congregation of both upstream and downstream cement and concrete companies and also its supporting industries gathered in the Capital City of Hanoi, Vietnam to showcase the latest developments in the Cement & Concrete industry. PreConPro @The 8th International BIC and BetonTage Asia 2019, Shanghai

PreConPro proudly announced its 4rth consecutive participation at the 8th International Building Industrialization of Construction (BIC) Exhibition, Asia in Shanghai, China. Riding on the market boom in China, the International Building Industrialization of Construction Exhibition Asia (BIC 2019) is returning for its 8th edition on 21 – 23 November at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC), Shanghai. BIC is the first exhibition dedicated to the prefabrication construction in China and is hosted by Shanghai Municipal Committee of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

APCE 2019 review

During the days in Vijayawada the boom and the excitement in the industry was literally tangible. Many businesses are in a transitional stage to accept the challenges of providing affordable construction on fast schedules and good quality.

Especially the speech of our MD addressing the potential of site based mobile Precast Concrete facilities was well received and resulted in overcrowding in our booth at times.

The event not only enabled us to create inroads in the very promising and fast developing real estate landscape of Andhra Pradesh, but also, touch base with our old friends and business associates from the industry. It was exciting 3 days and we will be back in the next edition of the APCE.

Building a new Andhra from scratch - APCE 2019

The youngest state in the Union of India, Andhra Pradesh (AP), is currently grappling with the challenge of building the new capital of Amravati from the foundations. The proposed capital, Amravati, is under construction and the state is in need of more urban housing projects, basic roadwork, bridges, railway stations and office spaces. AP State is poised to undergo a massive construction phase for next several years and is already witnessing ambitious international collaborations with the likes of Singapore under the able leadership of its government.

Andhra Pradesh Construction Expo 2019 (APCE 2019), currently in its 4th edition, offers all industry members an unique opportunity to come together, network and contribute in their capacities towards developing the state of AP and convert it into a modern, thriving and sustainable place for its inhabitants as envisioned by its government.

PreConPro setting up the first modern precast factory in Cambodia

Cambodia’s northwestern border town of Poipet is fast becoming a rival to Sihanoukville in terms of real estate development. Poipet, which borders Thailand and hosts an important border crossing between the two neighbors, is in the middle of a building boom.

The town currently hosts nearly 30 casinos, 10 borey (gated residential community) projects and several factories in the Special Economic Zone that produce electronics, clothing, and other products. Casinos, hotels, commercial buildings, and residential developments are going up in different parts of the town, fueled by massive foreign investments and an economic boom. Property values have gone up in many parts of Poipet as a result. There are also at least 50 companies subdividing residential plots for resale.

The Government is also eyeing to develop about 500 acres of land with a golf course, artificial river, giant garden, and a floating market in their attempt to turn Poipet into a premier tourism destination.

The above factors, together with the plan of the Cambodian Government to open more border crossings to Thailand, Chinese-funded road along the Thailand-Cambodia border, and the re-opening of the rail link between Poipet and Phnom Penh bode well for further development of the town into an important commercial and industrial hub.

PreConPro has got into a collaboration with a Cambodian development company, THE Co Ltd, for developing one of the most modern housing addresses in the region. The development comprises of over 2000 premier condominiums, villas, shop houses, along with a dedicated marriage hall and club house catering to the community and offering high end living amenities. It is spread over around 70 hectares of land and will also develop premium high-rise apartments in its later phases. The developers have decided to use modern precast technology in order to introduce superior quality and high-speed construction solution for addressing the booming demand in the region. PreConPro are the proud consultants to THE in setting up the most advanced precast factory of the country that will produce concrete elements such as walls, slabs, staircases, pipes, foundation piles and manholes. The mobile precast plant currently being setup will cater to THE’s ongoing housing development in Poipet. The developers intend to sell the spare capacity to other local developers in the region.

The BIC2017 Asia International Building Industrialization Exhibition was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from October 31st to November 2nd. PreConPro joined hands with Gyers (hereinafter referred to as GPS). During the exhibition, Mr. Andre, a partner and director of PreConPro, provided the participants with a professional speech on the state-of-the-art fully automated production of concrete prefabrication technology and prefabricated parts.
